2017 Kenya Women's Premier League champions Vihiga Queens on Sunday 21st dispatched fellow title contenders Thika Queens 4-0 in a WPL match staged at the Mumias Sports Complex. Vihiga, who have been away from the top of the table standings since losing to Thika in the first leg, now affirm their pole position as they stretch three points away.

Goals from Cynthia Shilwatso, Mercy Oginga, Phoebe Oketch and Topistar Situma sealed the win for Alex Alumira's side.

Elsewhere, Eldoret Falcons also trounced Mathare United women 3-0 in Eldoret to add to their 2-0 win over Kayole Starlets the day before and continue their fine run, ensuring that they stay close in the top four in the 16 team KWPL table standings.

Another Nairobi side Kayole Starlets were on the receiving end of a 3-0 hiding from this season's surprise package Trans Nzoia Falcons. Linda Nasimiyu, Joan Wanjala and Caren Nagila were all on the mark for the Falcons on Sunday.

Kisumu All Starlets 8-0 Baringo Starlets

The biggest win of the day came in Kisumu where a resurgent Kisumu All Starlets spanked Barongo Starlets by eight unreplied goals. The Kisumu side who had only won two matches in the first leg, have now won all their three fixtures in the second leg- the first against Makolanders, then Vihiga Leeds and now Baringo Starlets.
