As the Women Premier League (WPL) enters the second round, two matches have been postponed due to unspecified reasons. Zone A side Spedag FC was set to face Makolandars on Saturday 22 April at the Mombasa Sports Club but according to the latest communique from the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) competitions department; the match has been moved to Saturday 29 April.

In Zone B, Wadadia FC was scheduled to take on Nyamira Starlets on the same day at the Mumias Complex Stadium; but the match will also be played in a week’s time.

However, the other matches will go on with Mathare United Women up against red hot Mombasa Youth Olympic who are fresh from downing rival Spedag in their last encounter. The highlight in Zone A will be a clash of titans between reigning Champions Thika Queens and a wounded Soccer Queens side that lost their opening tie by a solitary goal in the hands of newbies Kayole Starlets.

Kisumu side Palos FC will face giants Vihiga Queens; a week after losing by a three-goal margin on the road to Oserian while Bulemia welcome Eldoret Falcons in Busia. Vihiga Leeds on the other hand, will be keen to upset Oserian in a bid bounce back from a 0-2 loss their registered in the opener against Wadadia.
