Kericho based Kenyan Premier League side, Zoo FC has completed the signing of former Palos FC and Ushuru FC midfielder Allan Odhiambo on a two-year deal.
Zoo is rebuilding after losing a number of key players to other Kenyan Premier League teams after the end of 2018 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) campaign.
Midfielder Mike Madoya decamped to Tusker FC while forwards Nicholas Kipkirui and Dominic Kiprono joined Gor Mahia and Chemelil Sugar FC respectively. Defender Isaac Kipyegon moved to AFC Leopards.
Zoo chairman Ken Ochieng has confirmed Odhiambo's signing whilst exuding confidence that the holding midfielder will strengthen his side.
"I can confirm that we have signed Odhiambo on a two-year deal. He has been impressive in training and I firmly believe that he will boost the team because he is a good player," Ochieng told Soka.
He also disclosed that the club will beef up its attack and goalkeeping departments before the start of the new season.
"We will sign a keeper because we lost Vincent Misikhu. We will also strengthen our attack. We have identified the players to sign and we are negotiating with our them," he added.
Zoo is also expected to promote some of the players from their youth team.
