AFC Leopards striker seals Ethiopia move

Ethiopian Premier League side Saint George Football Club have confirmed the signing of AFC Leopards central striker Alex Orotomal.

The Nigerian forward has penned down a two-year deal and he becomes the fourth foreign player to join the Addis Ababa based side. He joins former AFC Leopards goalkeeper Patrick Matasi who penned a three-year deal on Thursday 18 October.

"St George's fourth foreign player. The 26-year-old Alex Orotomal from Kenya joins the team for a two-year contract," reads a statement by Saint George.

The Nigerian forward joined AFC Leopards in the June transfer form Rwandan side Sunrise FC. He penned down a two year deal with the AFC Leopards and made his debut against Sony Sugar FC. The forward's first goal was in their 2-0 win over relegated Thika United FC in August.

Its understood that AFC Leopards released the player after a fee of 1.5 Million. His exit leaves AFC Leopards with Ezekiel Odera, Vincent Oburu as the central strikers.
