Kenyan International Eric Johanna Omondi had a dream debut in the Swedish top slight as he provided an assist leading his side Brommapojkarna to a 2-0 win over visiting Hacken in a round two clash played at the Grimsta IP Stadium, Stockholm on Monday 9 April 2018.

The clash had some bizarre incidents that left Hacken with nine men on the pitch following a straight red card to Alexander Faltsetas in the 42nd minute and that of Daleho Irandust seven minutes past the hour mark following a second yellow card.

Omondi had missed out on the season opener on Monday - a 2-1 loss away to Norrköping, but returned to start the latest game and turned provider for the opening goal by Bajram Ajeti in the 19th minute for a 1-0 half time lead.

Omondi was to exit the game 11 minutes to time, to be replaced by Christopher Brandeborn.

As he started Kenyan defender David Cheche Ochieng was, for a second straight league game, left on the bench as an unused substitute.

The turn around in results, following the season opening loss sees Brommapojkarna shoot up to sixth in the 16-team log with three points.

Next up for Brommapojkarna will be a trip to Hammarby next Monday.
