Recently called up Kenya U23 national team forward Jonah Ayunga netted his second goal in as many matches at Havant & Waterlooville on Tuesday 27 November as his team fell to a 1 - 3 loss at the hands of Dagenham & Redbridge in an English National League clash staged at Chigwell Construction Stadium.
Ayunga, who is on a three - month loan from Sutton United, opened his account in the earlier 5 - 2 win over Maidstone United but his contribution in the second game proved a mere consolation as his goal in the 85th minute came a bit too late, with a brace from Connor Wilkinson and a goal from Angelo Balanta having already done the damage.
Wilkinson opened the scoring in the eighth minute and added his second in the 50th before Balanta wrapped it up for Dagenham in the 75th minute, negating Ayunga's strike 10 minutes later.
Ayunga, who was in the squad as the Kenya U23 national team faced off with Mauritius in the two legged 2019 AFCON U23 qualifiers earlier in November, went on to feature in the entire match for the second straight outing.
On the same day, and in the same league, Ayunga's team mate at the Kenya U23 national team, Henry Ochieng, was missing in action as his team, Braintree Town played to a 2 - 2 draw with Sutton United at Ironmongery Direct Stadium in Braintree, Essex.
Ochieng's side remained bottom of the 24 - team log despite the point earned while Sutton are eighth on 35 points, sitting just a place outside the promotion playoff slots.
