Belgium second division side Lierse SK has permanently acquired the services of Kenyan International winger Ayub Timbe Masika on a three year deal from the country's top division side KRC Genk.

This was confirmed by the club in their official portal on Wednesday 6 July evening following the player's two successful season with Lierse on loan from top league side KRC Genk which ended at the end of the 2015/16 season.

Agreement

“Lierse and Racing Genk this evening reached an agreement for the signing of Ayub Timbe. Masika who played two seasons at Lierse signed a three year contract with our club," the statement read.

This comes just days after the Kenyan speedy winger was heavily linked with a move to Dutch top division side NEC  Nijmegen and New York City in the USA.

Masika, an integral member of the national team Harambee Stars, made 38 appearances for Lierse during his two years loan spell with the yellow and black side scoring eight goals in the process.
