2017 Kenyan Premier League top scorer Masoud Juma Choka while at Kariobangi Sharks improved his league goal count to four in ten games for United Arab Emirates top tier side Dibba Fujairah as action in the 14-team league continued over the week.
On Thursday, Juma finished off an assist by Yasen Al Bakhet in the 72nd minute for his fourth league goal from the round 13 clash. It however turned out to be a mere consolation as a ten-man Dibba Fujairah fell 6-1 to hosts Bani Yas as the Bani Yas Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Masoud's goal comes under a week after he delivered a brace as Dibba Al Fujairah thumped visiting Al Wahda 6-0 in a President Cup tie staged at the Maktoum Bin Rashid Stadium on Friday 7 December.
His latest goal came at a time Dibba had been trailing 3-0 after a brace from Pedro Conde and goal from Suhail Ahmed Al Noobi had Bani Yas in cruise control.
Conde completed his hat trick on the other side of Masoud's goal as Dutchman Leroy George and Ahmed Al Shamisi added two more to complete the rout.
Dibba had defender Abdulrahim Ahli red carded in the 34th minute. At that point the game was tied 0-0.
At the close of all leagues games in the week, Dibba remains rooted a tthe bottom of the log with a paltry four points from 13 games, as Bin Yas sits seventh with 18 points. Al Sharjah tops the charts with 31 points with three points on Al Jazira and Al Ain who are second and third, respectively.
Next up for Dibba is a home game against sixth placed Ajman next Thursday.
