Steliens joins from Belgian side Standard Liege where he was the head coach of the club’s reserve league side. Before departing for Belgium, Steliens was in charge of Georgian side Torpedo Kutaisi who currently sit second on the Georgian top flight log.
The coach will hope he can change the fortunes at Kolkheti, with the team currently in position nine on the ten team log and having lost 1-3 at the hands of Samterdia over the weekend.
In the loss, the Kenyan trio all started the game. Ouma amassed the full minutes but Nondi and Macharia were replaced in the 76th and 80th minutes respectively. Samterdia's goals were scored by Guaram Samushia, Giorgi Mtchedlishvili and Inters Gui. Kolkheti’s consolation was banged in by Giorgi Bukhaidze.
Steliens first job will be an away clash against fifth placed Chikhura on Sunday 17 September.
