South Africa based Harambee Stars defender Brian Mandela will have a new coach at his club Maritzburg United after the Premier Soccer League (PSL) side unveiled Roger de Sa as the new coach on Tuesday 10 January.
De Sa said that his relationship with the Maritzburg chairman was a contributing factor in his penning a deal with the side and acknowledged the support that has been accorded to him by the club.
"I've had a long relationship with the chairman and it's great to be here. The support here in Pietermaritzburg is second to none, the squad is good and the vibe I get here is very positive," De Sa said during his unveiling at the Harry Gwala Stadium.

The former Orlando Pirates boss takes over the reins from Ernst Middendorp, who resigned in November 2016 with Fadlu Davids having overseen the team on an interim basis. De Sa quit Ajax Cape Town after seven winless games into the current season after two-and-a-half years at Ikamva.
De Sa will get into the thick of things when The Team of Choice resumes action against Polokwane City at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on February 8.
