With 18 days left to the closure of the June transfer window, Posta Rangers head coach Sammy Pamzo Omollo has raided his former side Tusker FC by roping in the services of strikers Edwin Lavatsa and Paul Odhiambo while adding Thika United midfielder Sammy Mwanje to the list.
Despite having the three players already in camp, Omollo intimated that he is still hoping to get more players before the end of June more so after seeing his defenders let three points escape their grasp in the Tusker duel..
“We are bringing in three players Sammy Mwanje, Edwin Lavatsa and Paul Odhiambo who are all good additions to the team. I’m disappointed because three minutes left and we cannot defend a set piece and I’m disappointed with my defenders especially Jerry (Santo), Luke (Ochieng) and Ngotho (Suleiman) because you cannot leave Achesa to mark a tall guy; that is where we lost the game,” Omollo said.

The former Oserian coach also noted that missing some of his players who were on duty with the national team in the Intercontinental Cup might have affected their chances of winning the clash.
“We really miss Atudo and Matasi and its good the national team is back, definitely Matasi and Atudo will be back against Sharks. I am still looking for another striker though getting one in this window will be tricky but we will be working round the clock to secure that," Omollo opined.
Posta have struggled for goals this season, scoring just 16 goals, seven less than bottom placed Zoo Kericho and is no surprise that Pamzo is out looking for a striker. Posta Rangers next face Kariobangi Sharks on Sunday 17 June at Camp Toyoyo.
