Six crucial points from the final two games of the season saw Brommapojkarna - home to Kenyans Eric Johanna Omondi and David Cheche Ochieng - avoid direct relegation from Sweden's top flight league, the Allsvenskan as the season ended on Sunday 11 November, 2018.

Bromma followed up on a surprise 2-1 win over hosts Elfsborg on Monday with a 3-0 whacking of already relegated Trelleborg on Sunday to end up 14th in the 16-team log with 26 points, two clear of Dalkurd who went down to the second tier.

In finishing 14th, Bromma confirmed a two way playoff with AFC Eskilstuna who ended up third in the second tier Superettan having finished behind promoted Helsingborg and Falkenberg.

As was the case on Monday, Cheche was missing from the match day squad as Omondi was an unused substitute on the bench.

AFC Eskilstuna will host the first leg of the playoff on Thursday 22 November with the reverse fixture at AFC Bromma's Grimsta IP, Stockholm, three days later. The aggregate winner will play in the top flight next season.

In the just ended regular season Omondi featured in 25 of the 30 games scoring twice while Cheche made 13 appearances.
