Harambee Stars midfielder Johanna Omollo received his marching orders in the dying minutes of Cerle Brugge's 0-1 loss at the hands of league leaders Beershot-Wilrijk in their Belgian Division One clash staged at the Venue Jan Breydelstadion Stadium on Sunday 10 September.

Omollo left for an early shower after being adjudged to have elbowed goal scorer Messoudi Mohammed minutes to the final whistle; Messoudi having put the visitors into the lead in the 56thminute.

Despite the loss, Brugge stayed second on the log with nine points, four behind leaders Beershot after five rounds of matches, having picked three wins and two losses. The sending off means Omollo will miss Brugge's next outing, against fifth placed SV Roeselare on Sunday 17 September.
