Harambee stars winger Ayub Timbe Masika scored a second half brace to help Lierse to a resounding 5-1 mauling of Lommel United in a Belgian second tier round seven clash played at the Herman Verndapooten Stadium on Sunday 8 January 2017.

Masika's brace, that tally's up his goals for the season to five, came alongside that of Dylan De Belder scored on either half, and a penalty from Aurelien Joachim as Glenn Neven scored a last gasp consolation for Lommel.

De Belder opening goal and Jaochim penalty in the 37th minute had Lierse 2-0 up at half time. Masika's goals flowed in the 49th and 88th minutes and were sandwiched by De Belder's second in the 68th minute.

From the results, Lierse is back up the eight -team log with 14 points and just ahead of Roeselare who went down 1-0 to Johanna Omolo's Royal Antwerp on Friday. Lommel is rooted at the base of the standings with two points to show into the season.
