Kenyan international Victor Wanyama was in action on Wednesday 7 February as Tottenham Hotspur beat Newport County 2-0 at Wembley Stadium to book a slot in fifth round of the FA Cup.
Wanyama clocked 78 minutes in the clash and was pulled off with England international Delle Ali replacing him.
Spurs' opening goal came in the 26th minute when Dan Butler flicked the ball past his own keeper after Hueng Min Son's cross.
Spurs would double the lead eight minutes later with Wanyama involved, as he found Son on the left and the attacker set up Eric Lamela who controlled and slotted home.
The clash was a replay after the teams fought out a 1-1 draw in the initial fixture and will see Spurs meet Rochdale in the fifth round of the competition on Sunday 18 February. The North Londoners' next assignment is a league match against cross town rivals Arsenal at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 10 February.
Wanyama will be hoping to feature in the match after missing the first leg clash at the Emirates Stadium, which Spurs lost 2-0.
Wanyama has only played 79 minutes in the league this season and will be eager to start against the Gunners.
