Vihiga United Football Club have today- Thursday 6th unveiled the new faces that will join their second season in the Kenyan top flight and former Kenyan International Collins Kisuya is one of the six.
Kisuya, an immediate former Kakamega Homeboyz left full-back, joins coach Mike Mururi for the third time in his career and so does Smith Ouko who has also decamped from Homeboyz. The duo featured for Chemelil Sugar FC during Mururi's tenure three seasons ago.
While revealing the new faces through their social media accounts, United- who take on Ulinzi Stars in their first match of the season at the Bukhungu Stadium, also welcomed back Ugandan marksman Rashid Kyambadde to the team. He led their charge for promotion to the top flight in the 2017 National Super League season but a botched transfer move rendered him unplayable for the 2018 top flight season.
Attacking midfielder Timothy Ludda also joins the Vihiga County sponsored team after his brief spell with Sofapaka. He was previously in the books of now relegated Thika United FC.
Goalkeeper Mike Matasio also bolsters the unit together with another new face in scene- Alex, Imbusi, an attacking midfielder.
