The 2016 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) season did not pan well for AFC Leopards and it was evident that they were going to rope in new players ahead of the new season with the club confirming the acquisition of five new players.

In a list presented to the public by the club on their official portal, Ingwe has signed new faces in defenders Dennis Sikhayi from Western Stima, defender Marcus Abwao from Nairobi Stima, Mike Kibwage formerly with Kakamega Homeboyz, midfielder Ibrahim Mao from the Sofapaka FC junior team and young striker Vincent Ouma Oburu who was said to have signed for Gor Mahia.

Roped

Others who have been roped by the club but will be waiting for an official release from their respective clubs include Posta Rangers duo of Abdallah Yusuf and Duncan Otieno with young winger Samuel Ndungu from Muhoroni Youth also in the same list.

The club has also agreed terms with Mathare United duo of Yhvonne Isuza and Robinson Kamura but will have to wait for the expiry of their contract with their club.
